We have had beautiful, spring-like weather and while it continues to be warmer than usual, we will have some precipitation in Richmond Hill http://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/weather/ontario/richmond-hill

Tomorrow please be in the office hallway by 8:45 with your belongings. Remember it is okay to pack a little too much, especially with socks.
Special mentions:
-medication
-toothbrush
-towels
-plastic bags, for vomiting on the bus if you are inclined, but also for those dirty socks.

You may not bring ANY electronics. We will have class cameras. Bring books or games if you think you won't have enough to do during our brief down time.

I am really looking forward to this time and think it will be an experience that brings our class together, while we learn a lot of Social Studies and Science.

Parents, I will post on this blog tomorrow night to share our day's activities. After that there will be no communication on Tuesday and we will be at the school by Wednesday at 2. Please pick your child up or expect them home by 2:30.

Social Studies Grade 6 Urban and World Population Comparison in Canada

Lake St George is coming up. It's two nights/three days from February 29-March 2. This is a fantastic overnight trip that relates to leadership, environmental education, science, and social studies.
The cost is $30, and that includes the bus, rooming, food, and activities. The food will be halal and there will be vegetarian options.
If cost is an issue for you, you may pay over a couple of months, or speak to me. We do not want students to miss out on a valuable curriculum activity.
